Re: Lwb daily drive and laner build
Had her out for a little play at Binegar over the weekend, love the auto off-road, it works super well and the 2.0 has loads of torque for the hill climbs. 1C6EB12F-3352-474E-A85E-7D7195671247.mov IMG_1589.jpeg IMG_1588.jpeg 7305C0C0-90F7-43D1-8CD3-239318E3ECF5.mov IMG_1562.png IMG_1561.png IMG_1564...

Re: Source for front caliper banjo bolts ?
Bigg red or brakes international will be able to supply banjo bolts and 99% of other brake parts.
Can I ask why you won’t use Frentech? They are a UK company and will be the same spec as factory Suzuki Banjos. There are strict rules regarding the sale of automotive hydraulic components.

Yeah I usually fit hex socket button bolts instead.
However the stock style screws are fine to use once they’ve been removed for the first time in 30years

Right so for starters you need to make sure you get the correct bits. 1st they are not Philips, they are JIS. I’ve got a set of these bits, a must have for any suzuki owner. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155679795586?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=GSi1XoEJS-K&sssrc=44294...

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
The body needs a small amount of clearancing but it just bolts straight onto the chassis.
Don’t forget you also need to shorten the steering column, you will need a press.

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
My experience of the electric hydraulic pumps when combined with the Jimny steering box is that it’s usually quite rubbish and the steering is still heavy, people used to use the PSA units. I would just fit a suzuki based, engine driven pump using a kit. It’s a simple and reliable set up that’s prov...

Re: Grand Vitara not starting
A whirring like the starter is spinning but not engaging with the flywheel?
Sounds like the bendix on the starter has packed up. It’s probably time for a new starter motor.

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
I am examining power steering in great detail now. Have collected some parts together. Fixing bracket to engine block is not correct. 20240324_092709.jpg 20240324_092815.jpg Sorry seems like I might have misled you on the Jimny G13 bracket. I have previously been told they fit but it looks like the...
