2004 GV 2 ltr. I have only one transponder key, and have costed having a spare one programmed, £120 upwards, but do I really need that level of security ?. Not so Newbie now

Hi guys, Have been a member for around a year, but still consider myself a newbie. well ish, am finding my way around my Vit GV. but could not have done so without the help and advice from members. If you have a question or need tech help, these guys know the business.

Darrell, thanks, found it, fuse changed and all back to normal. Gotta say though, need to be a contortionist to get at the fuses, (or is that old age lol)

Fuses Boxes.

Vit GV 04 2ltr 16v petrol. Blown fuse, for cig lighter/aux sockets. All fuses in engine bay intact (metered out), the owners handbook says there is a fuse box in the cabin on the drivers side. Has anyone changed fuses there?, and if so where is it ???... lol, Light going so cant check it out. "...

Resistance checked out, and open circuit. not going to worry about that one. will change the sensor at some point. quick cure done, a bit of insulating tape over warning light?.. easy fix (temporary ish) Next job coming up. ? a 12v feed into boot, 12v socket already there but want to tap into the fe...

Thanks for the info. much appreciated, will check out resistances later today.
Another big sigh of relief, MOT over, in at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, phone call to go and pick truck up passed ok.

Oxygen Sensors.

Engine check lamp came on briefly a couple of times, checked it out with code reader, 02 error code comes up, bank1 - sen1. so assume bank1-sen1 is the sensor in the manifold, and sensor 2 is the one further down the exhaust. Kinda tempted to clear the error code, and just unplug the sensors. has an...
