There's a simple solution to your issue. I'm afraid the answer is if you can weld its an easy fix, if you can't it's hard. Why bother taking the box section out ?? Don't really see the point it's not a lot higher.

I just put mine on with self tappers, didn't even drill any holes first.

I've managed to dig em out with great difficulty lol, but I'm afraid one of them has been cut for some reason !!

Thanks mate yeah that's what mine are what I got on at the moment. I would keep mine if I could get the paint off to paint em again. I've been quoted £30 odd pound a wheel for sand blasting from two different company's near me. Cheaper to buy new wheels lol.

Jordi. The ones I've got on now are 8.5 wide but I'm not bothered about going narrower as my tyres will be fine.
