It's a 410 engine, 970cc. Asked Courier in Malta to source some hoses, sod all available here. But she's coming along nicely. It all holds water but for how long is anyone's guess...

Cheers Jordi. Like I said this is my dream car, bollocks to a Ferrari, I've done the speed merchant thing and I've always wanted one of these. And she's been tastefully modded as I would have done it. Looks almost original apart from the 31" tyres and the 2" lift. Keeping this forever.

My dream garage would have one of these in it too. Right next to a V8 locost 7 with independent rear suspension, lsd/locker combination rear diff (so it races well, but turns into a crazy drifter at the touch of a button too) and a small sensible diesel (sorry Dan!) daily driver.

My SJ will do in place of the LJ for now, and I have the sensible DD. Just need the 7.

I can't wait to get myself an LJ... and really hope it will have a 2 stroke engine in it!!!
It will make such a great noise... especially with a big arse motorbike can on it

Earlier models of the LJ did have 2 strokes but the LJ80 originally had a 797cc four stroke. No idea how that is possible with 4 cylinders but there you go.

Yeah the lj50 (500cc) and the LJ20 (350cc) Nat ham on difflock had an LJ50,

Fantastic! no power, plenty of noise & blue smoke but not much else! I've always fancied a 2 stroke car a trabant is on my want list!

Donkey.. Parts are in the post :) Should be with you soon as i sent them airmail. Sent u a PM with more info.

My parts bloke said to give him a call with what parts you want and he will see if he has them. He is the official importer of Zuk/Maruti parts. Said he doesnt usually post abroad so best i get the bits from him and post myself, which is no hassle really. Hope they get there soon!

BIG BIG thanks Aaron. Still can't get my head around the fact it's cheaper to get hoses from Malta than here. My Vitara ones cost double!
