Water leak from bell housing

Post by SuzukiSue » Sun Jan 05, 2020 12:51 pm

Hi guys. Hope someone can help. There is coolant dripping from the bell housing drain on my Suzuki SJ413. Is this a known problem, ie cracked block, core plug, etc? Thanks.

Is it a constant drip? Have you noticed the coolant level rising? Anything leaking from the bell housing would normally only be engine or gearbox oil, unsure how coolant will be getting there. If you have been driving in the rain it could just be residual, alternatively check its actually leaking from the bell housing and its not leaking from a coolant pipe higher up and dripping down.
