I'm not on Facebook as I think it's making the human race stupid, I much prefer forums, difflock years ago was so good, I just don't think many people are active suzuki people therefore don't have a great deal to post about?

If it's in the shed and you haven't touched it for years why would you post, i don't put threads or posts up for attention, I get hardly any replies on my build thread, but I still add info and pics to help encourage others, suzuki price has gone up massively so I hope will soon become classic, we will see more resto threads which would be really cool

There's more activity on suzuki groups on Facebook, due to the ease of posting there (you don't have to make accounts and passwords and stuff, and people are stuck to Facebook 24/7 anyway). But I think because of this the quality of comments/advice/people there are pretty low. People will post and comment for the sake of it, which makes about 80% of the contense pretty much worthless don't you think?
I find it in other groups I've been a part of aswell, not just suzuki and is a main reason why I stay clear of Facebook.
I think the people who are left here are good quality posters, and it's the reason I've come back after a couple of years. It's the shame that the numbers are low, but quality over quantity right?

You'd think it would be difficult for the human race to get dumber, but they seem to be doing their absolute best. Idiocracy here we come!

There's definitely something to be said for surrounding yourself with people who think before they speak/type. There was a time when facebook was limited to those who were smart enough to at least work out how a keyboard functions, but those days are over, thanks to Siri, Google Assistant etc.

Now you just need to be able to stop drooling long enough to spit out a sentence about your favorite confirmation bias. The race for the bottom is well on its way!

So very true statements said here :salute:

Im glad im not the only one who thinks were all turning into the future humans from Wall-E :hahaha:

As a early 30s guy i think the world is mad and the Internet has became a very weird place. I remember the early days paying 1p a minute for it and hiding from the parents phone bill day :brows:

Ive just had my email hacked and its a huge wake up call just how much info people share online now and how loose security is. One site with poor security and your password is exposed to all on the dark web etc after a hack.

This is all why we are moving to Pennines or Scotland. The words gone mad and i want a small holding and bunker  ohhhh and a end of the world Sj, gotta be a lwb for supplies...

I could quite happily live on a nice plot of land a mile or so off the side of the A66 round Stainmore area or somewhere off the side of the A9 round Aviemore.

I totally get that Jordi. After reading The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks (WWZ writer) it says to be poised to vacate when suspcious outbreaks of a mysterious disease are reported...but I still think Sars will be remembered as a lot worse.

Yes this planet is 100% screwed by the greed and corruption that runs it. Want zero (really zero) emissions? Hydrogen for fuck's sake. Even better would be nuclear fusion and I bet that was perfected ages ago but we won't see it, not while they can sell us oil and electricity.

On the plus side I have wine. :hahaha:

We are so screwed over here if tesco shuts compared to these lot

Everything set up self sustainable etc and are armed to the teeth :guns:

I wish we could afford more bits for the sj and days out never mind my own 50 acre self sufficient alomo with bunker haha
