LJ80 brake conversion with jimny parts

Post by lj80stori » Thu Jul 24, 2014 7:37 am

Does anyone know if I can use jimny hubs, disc etc to a brake conversion on the LJ? Have seen the tech guide on LJ10.com using sj parts but wondered if there was an easier way to do it.

Pretty sure Jimnys have different size knuckles so you can't use jimny parts.

Although some jimny calipers fit the Sj mounts.

All the parts required to do the conversion are easy to find and it's easier to do the conversion using all Sj parts. I.e Sj knuckle, stub axle, hubs, brakes etc.

There's a guide in this section on the better way to do it. http://forum.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/vi ... =37&t=8958
