Jimnysales.com and hello

Post by Lil_Beastie » Wed Oct 22, 2014 6:59 pm

Hi guys and gals.
Not sure if I'm in the right section.
Ive been a way a looonngg time playing with lower cars.

However I've got fed up with my Smart Roadster, awesome 55mpg but what I'm saving on fuel I feel I'm putting back in to keep it running. And I want a manual again!
Now I take it its still true that 4x4s go up in price this time of year and soft tops go down? So I may wait until after Christmas/spring

However I've started looking... bad idea. :poke:
Searching on ebay there seems to be a guy selling a lot of jimnys with the website Jimnysales.com (that doesn't work) but they seem a fair price compared to other on ebay.

Anyone used or heard about them?

They seem to be a little overpriced, but maybe the Jimnys they sell are very good quality - I certainly don't see many 2002 Jimnys being worth 3 grand.

I've seen a few going for 700-1200 lately.

Thats a bit of a better price range! Ebay never has good deals anymore.

Don't ever even look on ebay for cars.

Gumtree seems to be the place to find cheap Jimnys at the moment. I saw one with a leaky engine for 250 recently - tempted me because I know how easy it is to swap G13 engines, and how easy they are to find.

Keep your eyes open and you will find a bargain, I'm sure. May the zookforce be with you, jedi.
