Stupid question

Post by Sledge » Wed May 11, 2016 3:03 pm

Hi guys
Sorry for this stupid question, believe me I'm old enough to know better, but how the heck do I get the head rests off of my newly acquired Santana sj413,the seat covers are in the way and I don't want to cut them off if I can help it.
Doo!
Thanks
Sledge :weld:

Do they have clips to push in at the base, and then pull upward?

Make an opening in seat cover on R/H side supports and with a screwdriver push away the clip to the rear of vehicle and pull headrest upwards and off.

Ideal reply thanks very much for pics, its probably what I'm missing because of the blasted seat covers being in the way,I have a Haines manual which doesn't help (bit like the wiring diagram ,which is so small I can't see it even with two pairs of glasses and a huge magnifying glass,it's a bugger when you get old!!!)
I will have a proper look in the next few days when I can get a bit of time
Cheers mate

Clips where hidden under some rubber boot thingy's also,in my defence.
