LJ80 DISTRIBUTOR
Anyone know if 1300 and 800cc dizzies are interchangeable??

As far as I.m aware you need a 1.3 dizzy and coil, 1.3 coil doesn't have a ballast resistor like the 800cc
You also have to take account of the fact the 1.3 dizzy has vac advance but there is no vacuum take off on the carb on the 800. There are a few ways around that though, fitting stronger springs to the mechanical advance system etc or making a vac take off point.

Wring for you and another note: make sure that you get a dizzy from a carb'd SJ413 the later SPI dizzy's won't work.
