Vitara Gearbox / Transmission Oil

Many People make the mistake of using regular GL-5 in the Vitara gearbox, make sure you don't! It is safe to use in the transfer box though ;) If you can't find GL-4 then there are Yellow metal safe alternatives available.

I'm now wondering if the oil I put in my axles is going to be safe for an ARB. I used the recommended gear oil for SJ axles, but I don't know if it's yellow metal safe, or if ARB's need yellow metal safe oil...

No worries, I have ARB manuals for the diff and compressor in PdF format on my work PC as well if you want copies?
