Try using Aviva Car Insurance
I'm 18 and I had a Vauxhall Astra Van but the insurance jumped up from £1300 to over £3000 for no particular reason! (2 Year NCD at the time). So the Astra was sold and I managed to buy my SJ for £850 from a friends' friend and insured it for £840.
It might be a bit more expensive for you if you don't drive yet, but it's worth the 10 mins of filling In a online form if you could save something like £6000!

There's three ways of doing things,
1) The Right Way,
2) The Wrong Way
3) My Way.
2 & 3 are usually the same.

My first 2 years were about £2000 but my third year (this one) dropped to £600

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
