Re: Removing the body

Must admit i have never taken a body off a SJ and if i am honest when i finally scrapped mine about 3 odd years back it was because of the dreaded old tin worm, then i went for the Vitara LWB V6 that was a really lovely car too drive but once again the tinworm cost me a few bob to get it repaired. Th...

Re: How fast ?

My old SJ413 would certainly do mid 60s,the old Vitara LWB v6 pulled high 90s before it dies back in March, but my BMW X5 diesel will do 130mph but that is the 3.0 turbo version chipped to 260bhp,for a 2.25ton car is not bad.

So ...

Re: Not my taste

It looks totally stupid in the pictures but in the write up about the SJ it has 'air suspension' driven by a compressor,so when you want too drive it you start the engine and then raise the air suspension by the air compressor upto nearly normal height. You can also make this setup dance when linked ...

Re: Number Plate

On my Vitara the front number plate that i bought from Halfords they stuck it on with special heavy duty plastic double sided tape,my initial thoughts that it would drop off after a short while but it did stay on for about 3 years,as i understand it that is the way that they mount them on the bumper...
