What motor you gunna run mate? Subaru EJ20 non turbo. I,ve been told that a Subaru conversion can cost up to £5000.. I'm trying to do it for £1000. So far I've sold the original VW engine and the carbs for £706. I've bought the 6 rib gerabox needed to cope with the extra power for £250 and the comp...

:thumbup: that's one thing I need to build soon is a blasting cabinet! would save me so much time cleaning stuff up! And I've alot of stuff to clean up... Just had a new compressor and pressure sand blasting pot delivered along with the gloves and glass.Just waiting for a day off to put it all toge...

The latest on the leading.. I'm waiting for the courier to deliver the goods, shouldn't be long now. ( Having said that I've been keeping busy with other bits and pieces.. That there is a rare VW... Looks like it needs a lot of work.. Post a build thread on here and I'll race you to the MOT testing station :doublethumbs:
(Edit.. If your talking about my welding? The roof is shaped to fit with a joggled edge but not welded yet.. That's next)
