The black box under the fuse box behind the glove box, something to do with the dim switch on the lights

No haven't got one, my old truck never had one, one of its many owners removed it. Never had any problems without it

that's the dim dip switch mate, you don't need it, just leave it unplugged, and it should be fine.

common fault in the dim dip switch to make the light's stay on. don't even know what it does if you can simply leave it uplugged :er:

i know this sj
was on ebay and it got sold to a lad on here who borght it cos he came to view mine but got that one insted
but he only owned it for a mntth or so
ill have a hunt round c if i can find his number he may be able to pass u the details of the lad he borght it off
