http://www.facebook.com/groups/LJownersUK/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you own an LJ please come and Join us! make your LJ your profile Pic and request to join

It's a UK LJ owners exclusive group

To those of you who don't own an LJ please join the usual Scuk group page
http://www.facebook.com/groups/suzukiclubuk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We'll be using the Facebook page and this section to try and pull together all the LJ owners in the UK so we have a central place to share advice on repairs and modifications as well as hopefully arrange a meet up in the UK for the few LJs that we have left in this country.
Looking forward to seeing some new memebers

I thought coveting was still illegal in Cyprus

I had a little play in a Nicosia scrapyard today. Badly needed a LJ steering box but had to have a few more bits while I was there. Lights , doors ,tailgate, seats , bonnet and anything else that I noticed was missing from my toy.

It could be because you don't have my posts so you are still in the newly registered users group, I'll move you
That LJ in the scrapyard looks in pretty good condition

better than mine!

Being new to the world of LJ's, are those wheels standard and what size?

Thanks Scottie, Yes the body is pretty good, the drivers side even better, Usual front floor rust but again most still there with a patch.

Hello Geoff, Certainly not standard. Aftermarket ones or even wheels that have the centres cut out,reversed and rewelded to change the offset. Didn't check the size as I was not interested in them. The original wheels for a LJ were 16 inch, a bit skinny, rather like some of the war time jeeps. Hard to find but nice if you do. My LJ came with some fat mag wheels but I am fitting 15 inch from a later Suzuki 410. Would love some 16 inch ones but like rocking horse shit especially in Cyprus.
