Have you checked all the UJ's on all 3 props for play and the gearbox, engine, and Tbox mounts?

when my transfer box mounts went the selector stick vibrated alot in 1st and 2nd. I would imagine if the g-box mounts and engine mounts were worn the gear stick would vibrate.

How violent is the vibration.

grab hold of the rear propshaft and try to rotate it be hand

if it moves more than bout 1/4 inch in either direction the uj's prob need replacing
if in doubt, FLAT OUT!

mans tool kit > duct tape, wd40 and a bfh is all you ever need

in the DIY page there are two methods!

ONE

TWO

If its not your daily drive take the nackered joint off and take it to the motorfactros, there are several different types for the SJ, and motorfactors always have the wrong one listed!

best of luck!
