Well that turned into a nightmare.

Got the loom all buttoned up, went to start it and the immobiliser wouldn’t de activate :argh:

Spoke to the legend that is Rhinoman about re-syncing the ECU and ICU however because the donor was out of a later GV he wasn’t sure he would have the codes needed to re-sync them. The other problem is that they are wired differently to the earlier GV G16b because they use a different ICU :S

So I decided to swap the complete engine harness out of Blue as it has the earlier loom.
A very long day of re doing the loom and she fired up :rockin:

Time to throw a new timing bet on, get the cooling system plumbed, alt belt on, PS plumbed up and see if the EML turns off

Seems mad that I’m gonna do all this work and put her up for sale but needs must.

To many variations. Least you've got it sorted now man. Never know by the end you might keep it

Unfortunately as much as I would like to keep it, it needs to go to free up time and funds for the other Suzukis 😅

Want to get the fleet down to just 2 (maybe 3)

Good effort on getting her fired up! Some fantastic work as always.
I know your pain on trying to down size. I ended up gaining a vitara when I was downsizing
